Drum Dumper - Morse 185AM Kontrol-Karrier - Spark Resistant Parts - Morse Drum Handling System

Morse Model 185AM below-hook drum carrier allows you to lift, move and pour a drum weighing up to 800 Lb., or a half-full* drum up to 500 Lb. Model 185A below-hook drum carrier is equipped with the MORcinch Drum Holder to handle a 55-gallon steel drum with 22" to 23.5" outside diameter between the ribs.

Morse has been manufacturing here in the USA since 1923. After 100 years, they have it down pat. Efficiently loading and handling drums has never been easier with a Morse drum lift! All you need to do is attach the chain and let it hold your items in place. Lift the drum and rotate drum 360 degrees in either direction. Drum can be held at any tilt angle. The standard drum tilt control is a chain wheel with 12' chain loop.

The slots in the bottom of the frame can be used as a chain lock to prevent the drum from tilting. To do so, crisscross the chain and insert one side into each slot. If the drum handler is equipped with the MORStop Tilt-Brake Option, braking is immediate and automatic. To have MORStop Tilt-Brake Option installed on your new Kontrol-Karrier, order Option # 3900i-P.

Looking for a reliable and efficient solution to lift and transport heavy drums? Look no further than the Morse Drum Lift Below-Hook Drum Carrier with an impressive 800 lb. capacity. This durable and easy-to-use drum carrier is the perfect addition to any industrial or manufacturing facility, allowing you to move drums with ease and safety. Discover the benefits of the Morse Drum Lift and streamline your drum handling processes today. This drum lift model offers an extra layer of safety protection through spark-resistant parts, ensuring a reduced risk of mechanical sparks leading to potentially hazardous ignitions. Spark resistant parts are not a substitute for grounding and bonding to prevent static electricity discharges. Metal such as Monel are used in the drum holder bands and at the lifting eye. Stainless steel chain is used instead of carbon alloy steel chain across the front of the drum. Pull chain for the tilt control drive has brass chain substituted for the steel chain.

Morse drum lifters comply with ANSI/ASME B30.20 standard for mechanical, below-the-hook lifting devices as it applies to the following:
• Rated load markings and unit identification
• Minimum design safety factor of 3, based on yield strength, for load bearing structural components
• Welding is performed by certified welders who have passed the ANSI/AWS D14.1 welding qualification test
• All welding is in accordance with ANSI/AWS D14.1 and ASME BTH-1
